Blackjack Site Reviews for Ontario: 11 Sites, Their Tables, Rules and Registration

ToonieBet's Ontario lobby lists 310 blackjack titles, and FireVegas and Toppz list 22 each. All three answer to the AGCO and operate under an agreement with iGaming Ontario, and that gap is why our blackjack site reviews count the tables before anything else: the house edge follows the table, and the table list changes from site to site.

Eleven Ontario-registered sites now have a full review, each one read on 5 and 6 October 2026. A review is a table audit: which blackjack games a site carries in Ontario, which record in our register each one matches, and what edge those rules produce. App ratings, payment methods, payout times and registration follow, each with its source.

What blackjack site reviews cover on this site

A table list comes first. Before anything else, a review records which blackjack games the site actually puts in its Ontario lobby, by name and by provider. Most lists come from the site’s own catalogue feed, read in full and checked again a day later, since every later step in the review depends on that one list being complete.

The second step matches each title to a record in our table register. A record holds the deck count, the soft 17 rule, the blackjack payout, doubling and splitting rules, surrender and the hole-card rule, each with the URL it came from, plus the return figure the provider publishes for the game where one exists.

That return figure sets the house edge for 26 of the 27 tables in the register. For the last one, Pragmatic’s Blackjack X, the maths engine computes the edge under basic strategy from the full rule set. Our method page, how tables are measured, sets out the rule weights and the order of sources used for every table.

Limits and registration on the Ontario site

Limits come third, in Canadian dollars, and always with their source. Some sites print a minimum and maximum on every lobby tile, others only inside the game. A private site may set different limits on an identical game, so a review shows the site’s own figure first, then the range a provider rules file or review site reports.

Registration comes last but shapes everything above it. Gambling in Canada is regulated by each province. An Ontario site is registered with the AGCO and operates under an agreement with iGaming Ontario, and the lobby that registration covers is the one a review counts. Players must be 19 or older and physically present in Ontario.

Most counts in the second column come from a site’s own catalogue or lobby. The three Cadtree brands, Jackpot City, Spin Casino and Royal Vegas, show their game list to logged-in players, so their figures come from casino.ca’s Ontario reviews and carry a plus sign. Every total counts numbered copies of one table as separate titles.

The register column is the other way round. It counts the distinct tables in our register that a site deals in Ontario, out of 27 in all, 19 of them live and 8 computer-dealt. LeoVegas and ToonieBet match 16 records each, Casino Days 13, Betway and TonyBet ten, and FireVegas and Toppz four apiece.

The Casino Days review reads the Ontario catalogue file title by title, which is how its 101 Evolution entries were counted. The 888casino review matched each table name to 888’s own live-tables feed, because the lobby prints no provider, and Playtech Live and Pragmatic lead the tables it could place.

The LeoVegas review found a provider named on every tile and a minimum on many of them. The ToonieBet review found a printed range on 237 of 290 live tables, from C$1 up to C$10,000, which makes ToonieBet the lobby where most live limits can be read before a table opens.

The TonyBet review covers a lobby of 292 titles, 260 of them numbered Pragmatic tables, and an Ontario app with 98 ratings on iOS. The Betway review covers a shorter list of 54 with the widest studio spread in this group: Evolution, Playtech, On-Air Entertainment, Pragmatic Play Live and Games Global.

Ontario tables: where Evolution deals and where it does not

Six of the eleven list Evolution blackjack in Ontario, and that decides whether a C$1 player can sit at Infinite Blackjack, at 0.53% from a published 99.47% return. Casino Days lists 101 Evolution titles, ToonieBet 71, LeoVegas 23, TonyBet 21 and Betway five, and 888casino deals Evolution’s Free Bet Blackjack.

The other five carry no Evolution blackjack. The Jackpot City review, the Spin Casino review and the Royal Vegas review cover three sites run by Cadtree Limited of Alderney, a Super Group company, each under its own Ontario registration. Their live tables come from two studios, OnAir Entertainment and Pragmatic Play Live.

Their shared Games Global RNG family is led by Vegas Single Deck, the lowest figure across all eleven reviews at 0.31%, with one deck, a dealer who hits soft 17, 3:2 for a blackjack and doubling on 9, 10 or 11 only. Betway deals the same game, and Games Global publishes its 99.69% return.

The FireVegas review and the Toppz review cover two brands that TWHG Inc. runs on one platform. Their Ontario blackjack lists match title for title: 22 games, five Pragmatic Play entries filed as live and 17 RNG titles. Both cap withdrawals at C$10,000 a week, and only FireVegas has store apps.

Pragmatic Play dominates the two largest Ontario lobbies, with 171 live tables at ToonieBet and 260 at TonyBet. Most are numbered copies of a few games, and each family carries an edge: ONE Blackjack 0.41%, Privé Lounge 0.49% and the numbered and Speed tables 0.59%. LeoVegas also lists Pragmatic’s Free Bet tables, at 1.10%.

How tables are compared across blackjack sites in Canada’s Ontario market

The same game family can sit at very different prices. Evolution’s Free Bet Blackjack carries a published return of 98.26%, a house edge of 1.74%. Evolution’s classic seven-seat table returns 99.29%, an edge of 0.71%, and both deal from eight decks. A review lists both figures side by side so the gap between two tables is visible.

Three tables in Ontario lobbies show how narrow the spread can be. Pragmatic’s Privé Lounge Blackjack, at TonyBet, publishes a return of 99.51%, an edge of 0.49%. Evolution’s Infinite Blackjack publishes 99.47%, or 0.53%. Evolution’s Classic Blackjack, at Casino Days and TonyBet, carries 99.29%, an edge of 0.71%, so the three sit within 0.22 points.

Some tables share a name but not a rule set. Evolution’s classic live blackjack runs under several table names in Ontario, from numbered Blackjack Classic tables to VIP and Platinum VIP rooms, and one record covers them all. When a review applies that record to another site’s version of the same table, it says where the figure came from.

Variants with extra rules carry their own figures. Casino Days’ Ontario lobby includes Power Blackjack at 1.20%, Speed VIP Blackjack at 0.72%, Salon Privé Blackjack at 0.71% and Easy Blackjack at 2.77%, the dearest blackjack in our register. Each appears in its review beside the classic tables, so the price of a side feature is visible.

The edge is the only number in a review that compares tables fairly, because it describes the rules and not the experience. It is a long-run average over many hands under basic strategy. Any single session can land far from it in either direction, and every departure from basic strategy adds to what a table keeps.

Payments and apps in the blackjack site reviews

Payment facts follow the operator’s own pages first. TonyBet publishes its methods, a C$20 minimum deposit and daily, weekly and monthly withdrawal caps, LeoVegas takes Interac deposits from C$10, and Toppz and FireVegas take C$20. Interac is accepted at all eleven sites, and each review gives the payout time per method.

Payout times are the operator’s own figures, quoted with their source, from about 30 minutes for an Interac auto-deposit at Betway to up to seven business days for cards at TonyBet. Where a review site gives a per-method time the operator leaves out, the review names that site beside the figure, and the operator’s own figure always comes first.

App ratings need their counts beside them. A store average from 43 or 63 ratings moves with a handful of reviews, and one from 24,907 does not, which is why the table prints the count beside each figure. Toppz runs in the browser only, and Royal Vegas offers an iPhone app but none on Android.

Every review also records the operating company behind the Ontario site and where it is registered: Cadway Limited for Betway, Golden Nebula Limited for Casino Days, Ligtip Limited for TonyBet and Cadtree Limited for its three brands. Support channels, French-language pages and the responsible gambling tools on each Ontario site follow, with ConnexOntario listed at 1-866-531-2600.

Reading blackjack site reviews before you open a lobby

Start with the registration line. Each review covers one Ontario site, registered with the AGCO and operating under an agreement with iGaming Ontario, and the table list it prints is that site’s Ontario list. Players must be 19 or older and physically present in Ontario. The minimum age applies to every table on these pages.

Then look at the edge column and its source. A published edge rests on a return figure printed by the provider, and a computed edge on a full rules file. Both describe the same thing: what the table keeps from each dollar staked over many hands under basic strategy, and nothing about one session.

Last, match the table name on screen to the review. Live lobbies rename and renumber tables, and a VIP table can carry the same rules as a standard one at a much higher minimum. If the name on screen differs from the review, open the game’s help panel and compare its rules with the record.

Questions at the table

Frequently asked questions

What do your blackjack site reviews cover?

Each review covers four things: which blackjack tables the site lists in its Ontario lobby, the rules of those tables and the house edge they produce, the stake limits in Canadian dollars with their source, and the AGCO registration the site holds. Apps, payment methods and payout times follow in a section of their own.

Which blackjack sites have you reviewed?

Eleven: Casino Days, 888casino, LeoVegas, Jackpot City, Spin Casino, Royal Vegas, Betway, TonyBet, ToonieBet, FireVegas and Toppz. All eleven are registered with the AGCO and operate under an agreement with iGaming Ontario, and each review covers the Ontario site only. Players must be 19 or older and physically present in Ontario.

Which site has the most blackjack tables in Ontario?

ToonieBet, with 310 titles in its Ontario game list, 290 of them live. TonyBet follows with 292 and 888casino with 210, of which 199 are live tables. These totals count numbered copies of one table separately, so the number of distinct games at each site is much smaller than the headline figure.

Which reviewed site has the lowest house edge in Ontario?

Vegas Single Deck Blackjack, an RNG game, sits at 0.31% at Jackpot City, Spin Casino, Royal Vegas and Betway, from the 99.69% return Games Global publishes. Among live tables, ONE Blackjack from Pragmatic Play Live returns 99.59%, an edge of 0.41%, and nine of the eleven sites deal it in Ontario.

Which reviewed sites deal Evolution live blackjack in Ontario?

Six of the eleven. Casino Days lists 101 Evolution blackjack titles, ToonieBet 71, LeoVegas 23, TonyBet 21 and Betway five, and 888casino deals Evolution's Free Bet Blackjack. Jackpot City, Spin Casino, Royal Vegas, FireVegas and Toppz build their live rooms from OnAir Entertainment and Pragmatic Play Live instead.

How are the table counts measured?

Most counts come from a site's own catalogue feed or lobby, read in full and repeated a day later. Jackpot City, Spin Casino and Royal Vegas show their game list to logged-in players, so their counts come from casino.ca's Ontario reviews: more than 55, 40 and 60 blackjack titles. Numbered copies of one table count separately.

Do the reviews cover withdrawals and payment methods?

Yes. Every review lists the payment methods, minimum deposit and withdrawal, payout times and withdrawal caps on the Ontario site, quoting the operator first and naming any review site used beside it. Minimum withdrawals run from C$5 at 888casino to C$50 at the three Cadtree brands, and Interac is accepted at all eleven sites.

How is the house edge in a review worked out?

If the provider prints a return figure for that exact table, the edge is read from that figure, which is the case for 26 of the 27 tables in the register. For the other one, Blackjack X, the maths engine computes the edge under basic strategy from the full rule set: decks, soft 17, payout, doubling, splits and surrender.

Are the limits in a review the limits I will see?

Usually, within the range given. ToonieBet prints a range on 237 live tables, 888casino showed limit cards on 93 tiles and LeoVegas prints a minimum on many tiles. Other ranges come from the provider's own rules file or from the casino.org and casino.ca Ontario reviews of each site, and every review names the source of each limit.

Does a review recommend a site?

No. A review reports what a site deals in Ontario and what those tables cost under basic strategy. It does not tell you where to play, and it does not rank sites by anything except the rules of the tables they carry. Whether to play at all, and how much, is a separate decision.

Why do two Ontario sites from one group deal different tables?

Each operator chooses its own studios and its own table list, even inside one group. Jackpot City, Spin Casino and Royal Vegas share Cadtree's Games Global RNG family but list between five and six register tables each, and FireVegas and Toppz match title for title. A review names the operator's own list, not the group's.

Which sources does a review use besides the operator's own pages?

From the game provider first, then from specialist game sites such as SlotCatalog and the Wizard of Odds, and then from established review sites such as casino.ca and casino.org. The review names the source beside the figure, and a figure taken from one of them is labelled as coming from that site rather than from the operator.
